If you are not aware, Google released their latest creation…the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. My favorite, is the little brother…the Pixel 3. Let’s talk.
The phone has a very nice 5.5 inch P-OLED display, and it’s packed inside a small body. Nearly all screen, but it has bezels on the top and bottom for a reason. Dual front facing speakers, and also houses two cameras on the top left of the phone. It’s design is similar to last years, but it’s more rounded this time around. It feels GREAT in the hand for daily use, and will be just the right size for most of the masses buying this phone. Unlike the larger version of the 3 XL, this one can go into any pocket with ease. Even with a case, as I’m using the Otterbox defender series.
The phones strong points right now for me are;
- battery life
- build quality
- fast wireless charging
- fast charging
- google assistant
The weak points;
- audio in video recording
- slippery build from the glass design
- exclusive to Verizon wireless
Since I’ve been using this phone, it’s been surprisingly good. It handles all things I throw at it with ease, and does not feel like it will have many issues. My cons are subjective, but I think we all can agree on the audio when recording. It’s simply not that great. But if you want to take a photo, you must grab the Pixel 3. I have not seen such great photos from a phone like this in a while, it’s simply amazing.
The details in this photo are unrivaled by anything I have right now, period. This is the one thing good has pointed out, is that we can do what you are doing with only ONE camera on the back and it holds true in my book for now. I’ve got more photos below, so be sure to check those out along with the video walk through too.
The battery life on this phone has been good to me in the last 24 hours, giving me about 5 to 5.5 hours of screen on time. That’s great considering the package, but I still would like more. The phone has a 1080p display, with a battery that is just under 3000mAh. So it should be able to get better over time with more use.
When it comes to performance, you will be pleased to know that this phone will be fast, I mean really fast. Some people think that because it has 4GB’s RAM, it will be slow. But Google managed to optimize this phone spot on, unlike some others that don’t do a good job. I’ve not had any issues for now, with the phone at all. It keeps the pace with my task, and doesn’t slow down at all throughout the day.
I could go on and on about this phone, but this is just some thoughts on it after a full day. Hit the video at the break, and also check out the photos from this amazing camera on the Pixel 3 below.
